• Executive Meddling: The episode was originally animated so that the camera followed Barbara's body all the way down to landing on the police car. The censors protested that this was too violent and insisted it be changed. They redid the sequence to what's in the episode, where she hits the police car from the viewpoint of inside the car. Paul Dini said on the commentary track that he felt this was "a hundred times worse".
• The Other Darrin: While the Scarecrow has no actual dialogue, it's clear Jeff Bennett (who's already voicing Jack Ryder) takes over the role from Jeffrey Combs for this episode. Likely justified, as Crane doesn't actually speak and it would've been expensive to bring Combs back for a glorified cameo.
