• Completely Different Title: When this film was released in Spain, its title was changed to Colorado Jim and the name of James Stewart's character was also changed from Howard Kemp to Colorado Jim, for unknown reasons.
• Playing Against Type: It’s quite shocking to see perpetually wholesome and decent James Stewart as a hard-boiled, ruthless anti-hero.
• What Could Have Been: MGM wanted Richard Widmark to play Ben Vandergroat.
