• Died During Production: In July 2021, it was announced by Square Enix that the manga adaptation would be canceled because of the author Kayaharuka's health issues. It was revealed a few days later that she had already died by the time of the announcement, likely from pancreatic cancer that she was diagnosed with in 2019.
• The Other Darrin:
  • It was announced in December 2021 that Anos's voice actor would be replaced for the second season, likely due to Tatsuhisa Suzuki's cheating scandal and alleged suicide attempt afterward. A few days later it was confirmed by the studio that Yuichiro Umehara would take Anos' role for the second season.
  • Due to Tomomi Mineuchi retiring from voice acting at the end of 2022, Carsa Kurnoah was voiced in Season 2 by Mayuko Kazama.
• Same Voice Their Entire Life: Parodied. Anos Voldigoad, the Demon King, is killed and reincarnated thousands of years later, being born to a hapless newlywed couple. Only seconds after being born, his parents try to name him when Anos states his full name (with his deep, adult voice).
• Troubled Production: The second half of Season 2 was postponed due to COVID-19. It was later announced that it would be restart broadcasting from the first episode in July 2023.
• Two Voices, One Character: The hero Kanon is voiced by Ryōta Ōsaka, while his reincarnation from 2.000 years after, Lay Glanzdulli, is voiced instead by Takuma Terashima. This was likely done in order to not spoil the viewers with the twist that they are the same character by giving both of them, different voice actors.
  • Likewise, when Lay poses as Avos Dilhevia towards the end of the first season, his voice is portrayed by Kishow Taniyama rather than by Terashima, also to cover that Lay was behind the mask the whole time.
