• Life Imitates Art: Courtney Rose's entry into politics mirrors that of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the following year so closely it's almost uncanny. Both were young people with no experience in politics (Courtney a black male rapper, Ocasio-Cortez a Latina bartender) who launched insurgent campaigns that caught fire among voters in their urban communities who were sick of politics as usual, propelling them to victory in massive upsets against long-serving incumbent politicians representing the establishment.
• Screwed by the Network: ABC cancelled the show abruptly and replaced it with reruns of Modern Family, despite only having 4 episodes left to air.
