- Development Gag: In the original game, the Rupee House had a space for a slot machine (with a writing on it saying that the slot machine is out of order). The remake has a fully functional slot machine in the exact same spot.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: After the release of the DX remake, the original game vanished from the official website.
