• Fake American: Australian Liam Hemsworth playing southern boy Will, and strangely enough, his co-star as well. Although Miley Cyrus is certainly an American, she is definitely not from New York like her character Ronnie is, and you can tell.
• Romance on the Set: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth started dating while filming the movie; they had an on-off relationship for several years before marrying in December 2018, though they later divorced in 2020.
• Scully Box: With Miley at just under 5'6 and Liam at 6'3, it makes sense and can be seen in certain full promo shots.
