• Acting for Two: Li Yi Xuan plays both Nangong Ru An and Die Wu.
• Completely Different Title: The Chinese title means roughly "The Young Four Great Constables". The English title follows the lead of the 2008 series and shortens it to the much more generic "The Four".
• "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune:
  • Zhang Han (Leng Xue) sang "风中英雄/Fēng Zhōng Yīng Xióng/Hero in the Wind".
  • William Chan (Zhui Ming) sang "无言守候/Wú Yán Shǒu Hòu/Waiting Silently".
  • Mickey He (An Shi Geng) sang "逆相思/Nì Xiāng Sī/Defying Missing You".
