• Approval of God: John Wayne Thompson personally wrote to the pair telling them how much he loved their Smollop on him.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Several episodes that are not available in the feed can be found if you ask around in the main facebook fan group, including some of the Missing Episodes.
• Milestone Celebration: The 300th Episode was a two-parter about the life of Donald Trump.
  • The 400th Episode was another two-parter on the life of Ronald Reagan, guest-starring Patton Oswalt.
• Missing Episode: The Killdozer and Michael Larson episodes were removed likely due to the accusations of plagiarism from Damn Interesting (as the script of those episodes is extremely similar to their articles on the subjects).
  • The episode on Veterans Stand for Standing Rock was likewise taken down in the face of threatened legal action from one of the people behind Veterans Stand.
  • The George HW Bush episode was actually lost when the venue failed to record the live show and their backup failed. Some fans have proposed the theory that maybe this was a case of sabotage (the show was done in Bush's home town of Houston not long after the latter's death).
    • As of December 23rd, 2018, they broke their one rule to never re-do a dollop, but they felt it was topical enough and important enough and did the episode from scratch, but this time with Gareth's mom as the special guest.
  • That said, other episodes still remain lost, like the one from Thailand and probably one from Boston, where some guests near the front row kept talking through the whole show, ruining the audio.
• What Could Have Been: The original idea for the podcast was to have a different guest each episode, with Gareth being merely the first guest. However, both the listeners and Dave himself loved the dynamic between the latter and Gareth so much that Dave decided to make Gareth a permanent co-host.
