• Children Voicing Children: In one of the shorts, the baby was voiced by Dave's son.
• Cross-Dressing Voices: For some reason, whenever kids show up, girls are voiced by men and boys by women. Sometimes it's convincing, sometimes it's very jarring.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The Cyanide And Happiness Show used to be available on YouTube and Amazon Video but, due Explosm Entertainment releasing the streaming rights to VRV (and, by some extension, probably SeeSo) and, coupled with that, there may never be a DVD release, so you can't watch the series without having to resort to searching for small pockets that managed to obtain the videos online. The only release of the show was a Bluray made for people who backed the show, and even then that's only for the first season. After VRV dissolved, full episodes then became available on the official Cyanide and Happiness YouTube channel.
• Schedule Slip: Due to YouTube's ad policies and the lost revenue, Explosm Entertainment had to resort to a Patreon, in which case, they had to upload the animated shorts on a spotty basis, as opposed to the usual weekly basis. This seems to have changed once Explosm reached their goal.
