Trivia in The Chosen Six:

  • Doorstopper: The story is not even finished yet, but is about to go over 1,000,000 words.
  • Schedule Slip: While Tribun, unlike with his two previous stories, tries to keep a schedule for Chosen Six of posting a chapter every second Saturday, there are periods where he doesn't update due to writing numerous chapters ahead of schedule at a time and needing time to work on a new batch.
    • The first hiatus happened after Chapter 27.
    • A small hiatus of four weeks happened between Chapters 37 and 38.
    • Another hiatus happened between Chapters 52 and 53.
    • Yet another hiatus happened between Chapters 65 and 66.
    • One final hiatus is currently happening between Chapters 78 and 79.
  • Throw It In!: This happens less often than in the author's other stories, due to more planning ahead, but it still happens, especially since writing chapters in advance means, they can still be altered. The most prominent one is Dudley actually gaining magic.
  • What Could Have Been: Despite the author trying his hardest to not let the development process of this story be as chaotic as his previous stories, several things changed considerably on the way.
    • As a more general thing, it happened multiple times that the planned events went way over the size limit of one chapter, thus forcing Tribun to add additional chapters. This often then also resulted in having to write additional scenes. It did have the bonus effect allowing the author of fleshing out certain aspects.
      • The biggest example of this happening is the finale of Year 6. It originally only was meant as just one chapter, but so much detail had to be put into it, Tribun was forced to make it a two-parter. This however also allowed him to put even more detail into those two chapters and add additional scenes.
    • There originally had been no plans to use Greyback for Year 3, the whole thing in the planning stage having been a blank due to the original plot from the book not working in the story. The final plot for the year was only decided upon when the pre-Hogwarts years were almost all written.
    • The author had planned to write more detailed Quidditch matches, but after writing the first few realized that he sucks at writing those. He then decided that the events happening during the matches on the stands actually are often way more interesting.
    • Kingsley Shacklebolt was supposed to have a bigger role, but the author honestly forgot about him after his cameo at the start of Year 5 due to the more complicated plot of the later years demanding attention. Only after readers reminded him did he remember and changed plans so Shacklebolt would properly appear in Year 7.
