• Banned in China: For their troubles of trying to turn a concert-festival into a Pro-LGBTQ rally, the band is now banned in Malaysia.
• Corpsing: Matty (silently) loses it at the end of the "Girls" video.
• Creator Breakdown: Matty Healy was going plenty of personal issues during the writing and recording of I like it when you sleep.... On songs like "Ballad of Me and My Brain", it shows.
• No-Hit Wonder: Only two of their singles have charted on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. Despite this, both their self-titled went to #1 in the UK, and their second album debuted at #1 in both the UK and the US. Averted if one looks to the Rock Songs charts, where they have had a few songs reach the top 10, with their Sleeper Hit "Somebody Else" climbing all the way up to #5 on the Alternative list. They are less of one in the UK, where they've had ten top 40 hits, although their highest charting song "If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)" only went to #14 in the UK.
