• What Could Have Been: According to the Supernova Specialization Secrets video,
  • Snowflake was gonna be a female, but it was scrapped.
  • Festive Light and TV were last-minute additions to the show after production of the first episode wrapped.
  • TV was initially a silent-type character before they later gained a voice in episode 5.
  • Firework was initially supposed to be green, but it was scrapped.
  • Shopping Bag was originally going to be eliminated in episode 2, but that idea was scrapped. Same for Snowflake in either episodes 2 or 3, but that idea was scrapped.
  • Other scrapped ideas were a 15th contestant called Cold Drink who would have later debut in the show, Sandwich winning SS^note PillowPepper and his voice actor AnimatedGalaxy found him very uninteresting and decided to eliminate him early and Briefcase's color was black instead of purple.
• Word of Gay: As mentioned in the video for the trope above, there are three LGBTQ+ characters on the show: TV (Non-Binary), Ice Bag (Pansexual) and Game & Watch (Asexual).
