- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The series ended in 1989, with Electric Undertow published in 1990, but wasn't reprinted for over 20 years. As of 2023 the full series has been collected, including Electric Undertow (and is all available as digital comics), but for a long time the only way to read it was to track down the original issues.
- Stillborn Franchise: Waterman Entertainment had planned to produce a live-action Strikeforce: Morituri movie in 2011. Peter B. Gillis was tapped to write the script, while Marvel collected the series in a set of trade paperbacks. The plans were scrapped after Waterman closed in 2015.
