  • The actor who played Devor is Tim Russ, who will go on to play Lieutenant Commander Tuvok.
  • Kiros is played by Patricia Tallman, a fairly prolific actor and stunt performer who's done small roles and background work in eight Star Trek episodes and one film in addition to stunt work on a large number more. She will above all be recognizable to '90s sci-fi fans from her main cast role as Lyta on Babylon 5.
  • Tallman is joined by Marie Marshall who played the character Dodger on two episodes of Babylon 5.
  • Glenn Morshower plays Orton, roughly four years after he had played Ensign Burke in "Peak Performance". He would go on to play a navigator on the Enterprise-B in Star Trek: Generations and make further guest appearances as unrelated characters in Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise.
