• Channel Hop: The first three issues were published by Dark Horse Comics, while the fourth issue (labeled as a no. 1 comic due to the long span between it and the previous three issues) was published by Marvel Comics instead.
• In Memoriam: The unpublished story "Nutty the Friendly Dump" dedicates the story to Chuck Jone (with the s left out on purpose as a gag) "for the decades of warmth he's brought to lovers of cute cartoons everywhere."
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Issues 2 and 3 of Dark Horse's run of the comic weren't included in the hardcover Spumco Comic Book collection for unknown reasons. And after the sexual predator allegations launched against John K. in 2018, publisher Craig Yoe destroyed his remaining inventory of the hardcover reprints, and has also made it clear that he will never reprint the comics again.
• Sequel Gap: The gap between the third and fourth issue of the series was two years.
• Stillborn Franchise: The initial run of the comics only lasted three issues, with the Marvel run only lasting a meager one issue. Per word of Spümcø employee Stephen Worth, it was a catch-22 situation that killed the series early; comic book stores were the wrong market for funny comics, since readers were mostly interested in superhero comics instead of the gag oriented stories, so the comics inevitably sold poorly, and they couldn't get regular book stores to stock their comic books either due to the vulgar and lurid adult themed content contained inside. On top of that, the oversized format of the comic, along with the fact that it was printed on expensive pulp paper, made each issue a very expensive $6, further scaring off potential buyers.
• Throw It In!: Per word of Stephen Worth, the Chuck Jone typo in the "Nutty the Friendly Dump" story was done on purpose, being thought up one breakfast and added in for a laugh;
  "John and I came up with the Chuck Jone dedication at breakfast one morning and Shane (Glines) lettered it beautifully. John had a specific way of pronouncing Chuck Jone."
• What Could Have Been: There were more comics planned, including some that didn't make it into the hardcover collection, like the "Barber Shop" story, but the series was cancelled before they could be finished or published. With the allegations against John K. in 2018, it's safe to assume whatever little chance remained has been deep-sixed into oblivion, since no publisher would even want to touch it by sheer association.
