• Cast of Expies: Most of the 3D models are pre-made assets that have been legally bought, some of which are inspired by creatures from popular games.
  • Tinky Tank is very reminiscent of a Tank.
  • Lake Dipsy looks like a Regenerador.
  • Po is essentially a Necromorph.
• Dummied Out:
  • A game mode called Deathmatch was added at some point in 3, where players fought against each other using randomly given guns. It was later removed due to how detached it is from what the series is supposed to be.
  • A fan character known as the Scythe Tubby was added in 3 after an update along with his own location, but both were later removed due to technical issues and the creator wanting to distance himself from the series at that time.
• Original Character: The Brute Twins are fan characters that were added along with 3's release. The Scythe Tubby mentionned above is also one, although he's no longer in the game.
• Prop Recycling: Given that most of the assets are pre-made, this is to be expected.
• Word of God: Given the many plot holes, some more or less important details were mentioned.
  • Lake Dipsy is Dipsy's head after recovering a new body.
  • The Shadow Tubby is a representation of the custard infection.
  • The Ghost Girl is Laa-Laa's imaginary friend.
  • The mini-boss of Survival mode's eighth wave is named the "Newborn General".
