• Real-Life Relative: The Queen and Snow White are played by Nina Hagen and Cosma Shiva Hagen respectively, who are mother and daughter. (The biological kind, not the "step-" kind.)
• The Other Darrin: In the sequel, Cookie is played by a different actor. The other characters remark on his changed appearance when they first meet up again.
• Dawson Casting: Each character is played by the same actor even in flashbacks. Taken to an extreme with Bubi, who is played by the 56 year old Otto Waalkes as a baby. Then again, Otto Waalkes had been making baby sketches ever since he started his career.
• Character Outlives Actor: Mirco Nontschew, the actor of Tschakko, passed in December 2021. Since they won't make any more sequels, the character stays alive and well.
