• The Other Darrin: Starting with this episode, the Brazilian cast of the gang was permanently replaced in a controversial decision, marking the very first time Scooby Doo wasn't voiced by Orlando Drummond in Brazilian Portuguese, as well as the definitive retirement for Mário Monjardim as Shaggy, Juraciara Diácovo as Daphne and Nair Amorim as Velma (they all had been replaced in previous incarnations but often reprised their respective roles prior to Warner's decision).
• Role Reprise:
  • Frank Welker comes back to do Dynomutt.
  • Despite the Other Darrin above, Orlando Drummond still got to reprise the role of Dynomutt in the Brazilian dub. Coincidentially or not, the first Scooby Doo movie where he didn't voice Scooby also involved a crossover between the Scooby Gang and Blue Falcon.
