• Acclaimed Flop: The original season did not gain very high ratings, but was praised for its humor and acting.
• I Am Not Spock: Rajesh Kumar as Rosesh; it's his most famous role by far, unlike the rest of the main cast who are far more established (bar Rupali Ganguly as Monisha, and Ganguly has gained another famous role as the titular housewife in Anupamaa). It's to the point people are shocked to realise that his voice as Rosesh is not his real voice, and are shocked to hear his much deeper natural voice in real life or in other productions.
• Sequel Gap: Season 2 premiered in 2017, over a decade after Season 1 ended.
• Vindicated by Reruns: The original run of the show was taken off the air after 70 episodes (which is not a lot by Indian cable TV show standards) due to a lack of viewership, but became a Cult Classic over time due to reruns.
