Trivia / Rugrats Pre-School Daze

Go To

  • Bury Your Art: Nickelodeon removed all four episodes of this show from iTunes and has remained unavailable anywhere to this day, likely because they were dissatisfied with how the show turned out. The only way to officially watch is on the Direct-to-Video DVD releases.
  • Invisible Advertising: So much so, that some cable listings had no sort of title or descriptions given to the show on its 2008 airings! This is likely because even Nickelodeon had no faith in this series.
  • Saved from Development Hell: The show was intended to be a full series, being announced in March 2002 with a 13 episode order. However, when All Grown Up! was announced that September, Preschool Daze was said to be repurposed into 4 specials slated for release in 2003-04. It failed to meet that date, and while it aired in the United Kingdom in 2005, it was shoved into the Direct-to-Video movies as bonuses in the US.
  • Screwed by the Network: It seems Nick had it out for this series from day 1. It went from a 13 episode order to 4 episodes and being advertised as specials. Nickelodeon dumped the show's episodes as "bonus features" on the equally short-lived Rugrats: Tales from the Crib DVD series (2 episodes on both discs) after the show failed to see broadcast. When the network finally aired it in 2008, it was buried in an early morning timeslot where no kid would be awake to see it, without any sort of promotions (or sometimes, even TV listings) whatsoever.
