  • Bad Export for You: There have been attempts to translate Rat-Man in Croatia and Spain, but they failed to spark any real interest and ceased after a handful issues. After that, Rat-Man was never exported outside Italy.
  • Creator Backlash: Some stories hint at that. Especially the one where Leo Ortolani is the main character that is both a homage to The Old Man and the Sea and a metaphor of storytelling
    Leo Ortolani (v.o., referring to Rat-Man): His character followed him without making questions that he would not be able to articulate in any case. With his uselessly huge head, he was a mediocre character and, like all mediocres, he believed to be the best.
