Trivia / Pokémon Trading Card Game (1998)

Go To

  • Blooper: In the first game, Ninetales's name is misspelled as "Ninetails" on all of its cards.
  • Defictionalization: Several of the cards created for both games were later physically released as promotional cards.
  • Fan Translation: One for the 2nd game exists.
  • Feelies: The game comes with Promo Meowth #10. A pretty rare card, but since over one million copies of the game were sold world wide, it's technically an uncommon card.
  • No Export for You: The sequel never saw release outside Japan, possibly due to it coming out so late in the GBC's lifespan. A Fan Translation does exist, however.
  • Recursive Adaptation: It is a video game based on a card game based on a video game.
