• Technology Marches On: In the original edition, Zeke's parents punish him by taking away his VCR so he can't watch any horror movies. VHS was essentially discontinued in the late 2000s, so the Classic Goosebumps edition (released in 2011) removes this line, editing it slightly so that his parents have just forbidden him from watching horror movies.
