• Cool Car: Misha has had several. Matt and Spencer now both have one too.
• Cool Uncle: Jake has John Petrucci for an uncle. Petrucci has admitted to being a big fan of Periphery, and he even appeared on "Erised" as a Special Guest. Periphery also toured with Dream Theater in early 2012 and Jake even worked as Jordan Ruddess's keyboard tech during the Octavarium album cycle.
• The Pete Best: Every member of the band who isn't in the current lineup.
  • Averted with Chris Baretto, who ended up becoming the vocalist of Monuments for two album cycles as well as the vocalist & saxophonist of jazz-metal band Ever Forthright.
  • Averted with Travis Orbin. He's been the drummer of Darkest Hour since 2012, is a highly sought after session drummer and has also made his own solo music.
  • Averted with Nolly, as he's become a massively successful producer and mixing engineer since leaving the band.

  • Misha has contributed to several video game soundtracks, including Halo 2: Anniversary and Destiny: Rise of Iron.
  • Mark is a voice actor outside of the band. He provided some voices for Disco Elysium.
• Saved from Development Hell: both the self-titled album and the Juggernaut double album. The songs "Motormouth", "Absolomb", and "Sentient Glow", being made from the old demos, also count.
