• Breakup Breakout: Pentagón Jr and Octagón Jr were both tied to one another by the "Pentagón/Octagón" feud and both broke out of the AAA. Octagón found a nice niche for himself in WWE as Kalisto, but Pentagón exploded in Lucha Underground. He could also be considered this to Los Perros del Mal, his tag-team with Perro Aguayo Jr, as Pentagón left the team and found his stardom just when Perro sadly passed away due an accident in the ring in 2015.
• In Memoriam: Pentagón often has his outfits bear the logo of the Los Perros del Mal in some way, as a homage to Perro Aguayo Jr, his tag team partner in Los Perros who died tragically in 2015. He also has a tattoo in his honor in his left arm.
• Real-Life Relative: The real-life brother of Fenix. They're a Wrestling Family, so it's to be expected that some of them would end up in the same roster.
• Star-Making Role: Pentagón would never have reached stardom if not for Lucha Underground allowing him to explore his talents and his character to the fullest.
• What Could Have Been: Given the way things went between the original Pentagón(s) and Octagón, it is likely that AAA's plan was to have Octagón Jr win the feud and have Pentagón Jr unmask. Octagón Jr leaving the company put a halt to these plans, and inadvertently ensured Pentagón Jr remained with his mask and gimmick intact. Had things gone as planed, Pentagón Jr likely would have never risen to the levels he is now.
