- Late Export for You: Origin of Symmetry didn't get an United States release due to Executive Meddling from Maverick Records, the label that published Showbiz. It was only released in 2005 after the band was able to break through in America with Absolution.
- Milestone Celebration:
- In 2021, it was released Origin of Symmetry: XX Anniversary RemiXX, a remixed and remastered version of the album with the help of producer Rich Costey, featuring a more dynamic sound which readds hidden elements buried in the mix.
- In 2011, the band played the entirety of Origin of Symmetry in full during the Reading + Leeds festival in the United Kingdom.
- Working Title: "Thoughts of a Dying Atheist" for "Megalomania". This title was eventually repurposed to an Absolution song.
