• Early-Bird Release: The first episode was pre-aired on Christmas 2022.
• Harpo Does Something Funny: For the anime, it was decided to do a lot of improvisation and ad-libbing to better illustrate the cast's quality while acting out their characters in recordings. In specific:
  • For Mahiro, Marika Kouno went with going for an expansive range of acting to pull the feel of a girl who, in reality, is supposed to be a man deep inside.
  • For Mihari, Kaori Ishihara had decided to go for high levels of tension as a scientist in her performance.
  • For Kaede, Hisako Kanemoto aimed for conversational play with a gal-like, if family-oriented motif.
  • For Momiji, Minami Tsuda did a blend between being a natural tomboy with a girlish nature.
• Inspiration for the Work: As the series was conceived around 2016, Nekotofu was heavily inspired after seeing Your Name, which he credits as the driving motivation to create the series in the first place.
• Production Posse: Michiko Yokote, head writer of the anime, reunites with Hisako Kanemoto, who she previously collaborated with on Squid Girl, 13 years prior, whom the latter of which played the titular character.
• Write What You Know: Series director Shingo Fujii often asked Yokote and the female staff to draw inspiration from their real life experiences, along with his own, while writing the show to create an authentic experience of what a girl's life is regularly like.
