Trivia / Noceda-Clawthorne Series

Go To

  • Throw It In!: Willia Oldstone's appearance wasn't detailed until the second story, as the author had debated on whether to make an ongoing series.
  • What Could Have Been: All the stories have some aspects that were either cut out or moved.
    • Ghoul Break, with Family and Friends: Bria was originally going to be the villain of the fifth chapter, her motive being using Luz to get revenge on Gus. Because of how petty that would've been, she was replaced with Tibbles since he had a deeper connection with the Clawthornes.
    • For her Family, the Raven will Soar:
      • The reason why "knocked-down" people briefly slip into their natural voices was supposed to be mentioned in a scrapped mini-chapter for the first story.
      • In the early draft of the story, Odalia would have used the Ouroborus curse to seal Amity's magic instead of just getting her to obey; if the curse was completed, Amity would have died within two years. It was changed so Amity could have some baby antics without everyone freaking out when she tried using her magic.
      • At one point, Edric and Emira were on just as tight of a leash as Amity. Odalia offered her older children a deal to lighten their load if they made things hard for Amity, as a way to toughen her up for her eventual entry into the cut-throat world of business.
      • During Hunter's interview with Odalia, she would let it slip that she knew things that shouldn't have known, leading to Hunter learning that Odalia had her children's concealment stones illegally mortified so she could watch all of her children.
      • Alador was going originally to walk out of Amity's life and wouldn't let anyone talk him out of it. It would take a talk from Eda, and later, Camila help him change his mind.
    • A Day Out, With The Owl Familia: Chapter 7 would've ended with the revelation of Willow's temper problems coming from Gilbert when a witch cut in line leading to Gilbert losing his temper and destroying the entire ride. The ending was made softer so the newly named Owl Familia could have a little family time.
    • The Sisters' Family Vacation was originally called Camila's Knocked-Down Adventures and focused in Camila being knocked down to a 14-year-old as Luz had to watch her. The story was also supposed to come after The Familia's Final Outing, originally titled Ghoul Break, Now with More Family and Friends.
    • The Knocked-down Holidays Spectacular had a fourth of its stories cut due to real life issues. There were three other holiday stories meant to be included; Scout Day (meant for release on Labor Day with the Owl Familia honoring Steve with an award), No Magic Day (meant for release on Halloween and depicting all witches on the Boiling Isles not using their magic for a day while trying to scare each other human style), and finally, True Unity (meant for release on Thanksgiving, where all of the Isles came together to celebrate being truly unified after Belos's reign was over.
  • Word of God:
    • In the eighth and ninth chapters of the first story, a little over thirty minutes passed between Amity running off thinking she lost Luz and her finding her "knocked-down" girlfriend with her former friends.
    • Odalia looks down on witches who need tools to use magic, despite needing one herself.
    • When a "knocked-down" person gets highly emotional, the rejuvenation aura around them briefly breaks, and their voices could sound closer to their natural age.
    • While the Day of Unity isn't shown, it still happens with the last 4 to 5 episodes of Season 2 occurring with minor differences.
    • If a witch is interrupted when a certain type of potion was used, they'll suffer bouts of sluggishness until the potion's effect is completed, hence Luz being tired in the first two chapters of the third story.
    • Other shows included in the fourth story will not make it a Crossover fic; they wil only have two to three appearances at least.
      • The events of the Amphibia and The Owl House crossover panel aren't canon to story, and The Sisters' Family Vacation takes place roughly a month before Sprig and Ivy would go explore the newly discovered continent in the epilogue of "The Hardest Thing".
    • Amber and Derwin started mixing magic after Belos was defeated, and Cat secretly started learning potion magic after multi-tracking became official at Hexside.
