- Ascended Fanon: The comic showing the idea that Darius' Palisman is being used to cover his bald head is based on another fan's theory raised beforehand, hence the comic's title.
- Blooper: In the last page of "Addictive", Gus's sleeves disappear in the first two panels then reappear in the last one.
- Creator Backlash: Mark regrets having Hunter tell Belos he forgives him after defeating him in this comic, saying that it was more about Hunter making peace with himself as opposed to him actually forgiving Belos, and that in retrospect he would've used another word.
- Creator Breakdown: Some comics are noted to have a drop in quality compared to the usual level, usually due to Mark falling ill or having to go for surgery.
- Image Links: In 2021, Mark uploaded his background art for artists to use, no credit required.
- Meaningful Release Date: "A Well-Earned Rest" was published on the first anniversary of when "Watching and Dreaming" premiered, showing Luz finally getting to relax after saving the Boiling Isles from Belos.
- Milestone Celebration: "The World Is Better With You Around" was posted on September 22, 2022, AKA MoringMark's 10th anniversary.
- Outdated by Canon:
- Some post-"King's Tide" comics depicting Hunter without his gloves, namely this one, with scars all over his hands. This was proven to be false through a brief clip from the "Calling All The Monsters" video which show his hands to be completely clean.
- Mark's comics set in the Boiling Isles after "King's Tide" but before "For the Future" involve the Isles' citizens turning into La RĂ©sistance led by Eda, Raine, Darius, and Alador. They keep a roving base inside an RV-like vehicle, and Eda even sports a new robot arm built by Alador. "For the Future" shows a resistance movement made up of Hexside's students instead of all the Boiling Isles coming together, since most of the other characters have been turned into puppets by the Collector. Further, pretty much everyone is hidden away somewhere instead of roving around, Eda doesn't have a robot arm, Raine and Darius are stuck as puppets, and Alador is nowhere to be seen.
- Numerous comics set post-Season 3 but before the airing of "Watching and Dreaming" depicted the Collector being adopted into the Noceda family, acting their physical age and being a younger sibling to Luz while living with them on Earth. The ending of "Watching and Dreaming" before the four-year timeskip would see the Collector go on a journey of self-discovery among the stars so they could mature, though the epilogue does imply they keep in contact with King since King knew they'd be dropping by to give a little light show for Luz's 18th birthday.
- Similarly Named Works: Some comics share the same name from time to time.
- Two comics are named "Bard": one focuses on Skara and the other focuses on Raine.
- Another case are the comics called "Attitude": the first one focuses on Pandora explaining to Jay the reason for the plant on her head. The second one shows Amity snubbing Boscha for saying she's gone soft.
- There are two comics named "Grimwalker": One is Hunter confessing his nature as one while on the way to stop the Day of Unity and the second has him exploit his possible plant man nature after taking what should've been a fatal hit.
- Four comics are named "Kiss". The first one is where Amity discusses her first kiss with Luz and Willow gives a peck on Hunter's cheek. Another is where Amity and Luz attempt to kiss but are interrupted by Camila. The third is where Luz and Amity bribe Vee into leaving the bedroom so they can kiss in the bedroom. The fourth has Luz and Amity try to downplay their First Kiss to some kids, only to find they know the truth thanks to Eda.
