• What Could Have Been: This was intended to be the Grand Finale of the series, but its unexpected popularity kept it on. It would have ended similarly to Zyuranger, with Rita and her minions being resealed in an urn by the Rangers storming the palace. They even attempted to get Machiko Soga to come over to the U.S. for interaction with the rangers at the Juice Bar.
  • Instead of Goldar, they were going to adapt Bandora's son Kai as Rita's son, Bubba, to pilot Cyclopsis.
  • The Rangers, originally written as seniors, were going to head off to their Senior Prom after the fighting was finished, which would have excused the Dawson Casting somewhat.
