• Creator's Favorite Episode: More like "Creator's Favorite Series". Out of all the TV shows he produced, Mighty Jack remained Eiji Tsubaraya's personal favorite because it concentrated more on the human side of a tokusatsu show versus the usual monster/alien of the week format.
• Executive Meddling: As explained on the main page Mighty Jack's transformation into Fight! Mighty Jack was a result of them wanting a show more like Ultraman.
• Magnum Opus Dissonance: Mighty Jack was Eiji Tsuburaya's personal favourite out of all the TV shows he produced. However, the series suffered low viewership due to a lack of focus on kaiju and aliens, forcing the show's retool into Fight! Mighty Jack. Both the failure of this show and Operation: Mystery, which was produced after Fight! Mighty Jack, nearly killed Tsuburaya Productions.
• Prop Recycling: Fight! Mighty Jack used a number of suits and props from the Ultra Series.
• What Might Have Been: The show was supposed to run for 26 episodes before the retool. There were also seven unproduced episodes that never saw the light of day for reasons other than the show's shake-up.
