• Development Hell: Every album. "Hotel Paper" was bumped back at least once, her country album "Everything Comes and Goes" was bumped back a few times until it was released as a 6 song EP, and "West Coast Time" was done for the better part of two years but ended up getting shelved by the record label and eventually leaked onto the internet, in it's place a new album "Hopeless Romantic" was recorded instead.
• One-Hit Wonder: The Wreckers were one with "Leave the Pieces".
• Screwed by the Network: Her momentum in the mid-2000s came to a grinding halt because of repeated upper management changes at Warner Bros. Records, constantly altering plans and pushing Michelle to sound like other artists. She eventually fled WB entirely to avoid any more of this nonsense.
