- Author's Saving Throw: Producer Ted Biaselli stated in an interview that although the producers were happy overall with Masters of the Universe: Revelation they had set out to address particular criticisms fans had in this series. This appears to have resulted in He-Man's screen time being increased, showing Evil-Lyn redeeming herself as opposed to being Easily Forgiven, the destruction of Preternia being reversed and clearing up Skeletor's backstory.
- Casting Gag:
- In this series Keldor and Skeletor are voiced by William Shatner and Mark Hamill respectively. Given the Fandom Rivalry between Star Trek and Star Wars it’s an interesting decision to have Captain Kirk and Luke Skywalker voicing two instances of the same character.
- This isn't Grey Delisle's first time in the wider Masterverse.
- This would be the second time a character with dragonic characteristics was played by John de Lancie in a show that features both technology and magic.
- Creator Couple: Chris Wood (Actor) who plays Prince Adam, and Melissa Benoist who takes over the role of Teela, are married in real life.
- The Other Darrin:
- Teela is now voiced by Melissa Benoist taking over for Sarah Michelle Gellar.
- Additionally, Gates McFadden replaces Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena.
- Remake Cameo:
- Meg Foster, who portrayed Evil-Lyn in the 1987 film, voices Motherboard here.
- Cam Clarke, who voiced Adam/He-Man in the 2002 series, voices Stonedar here.
- Two Voices, One Character: Despite Keldor and Skeletor being the same person, the latter is voiced by Mark Hamill and the former by William Shatner.
- What Could Have Been: According to Kevin Smith, he wanted ideally an additional episode or two to allow Revolution's narrative time to breathe. Unfortunately, the Netflix Executives set the series order at 5 episodes.
