• Acting for Two:
  • Natsumi Fujiwara voices both Ryan and Brad Stafford.
  • Sora Tokui voices Henry, Roy and Louis Stafford.

• B-Team Sequel: Luminous Witches is the first World Witches entry not to directly involve Kazuhiro Takamura as director/character designer and Seikou Nagaoka as composer.
• The Danza: In the episode "I Will Not Forget Those Days", Strike Witches and Brave Witches singer Yoko Ishida appears as Captain Ishida.
• Darkhorse Casting: With the exception of Mikako Komatsu, most of the main cast consisted of relatively unknown voice actresses/singers.
• Milestone Celebration: Luminous Witches was announced during the World Witches franchise's 10th anniversary event in 2018.
• The Other Marty: Silvie Cariello, Maria Magdalene Dietrich and Joanna Elizabeth Stafford are respectively voiced by Miu Kotosaka, Momo Hanae and Kyo Tachibana in the Luminous Witches PV and the first three CD singles. By the time of their anime debut, Kotosaka, Hanae and Tachibana retired due to their health issues, so all three roles were recast with Rino Yoshikita, Kana Furunaka and Rio Mamesaki, respectively.
• Release Date Change: Luminous Witches was originally slated to premiere in 2021, but it was delayed to 2022 due to various factors including the retirements of Miu Kotosaka, Momo Hanae and Kyo Tachibana.
• Studio Hop:
  • This is the first World Witches anime to be produced by Studio SHAFT.
  • The Strike Witches and Brave Witches anime were distributed worldwide by Crunchyroll. For Luminous Witches, distribution was instead handled by Sentai Filmworks.
• You Sound Familiar: Yoko Ishida previously sang the opening themes for Strike Witches and Brave Witches before appearing as Captain Ishida for "I Will Not Forget Those Days".
