• Ascended Fanon: Dave Vis, the keeper of the "Official Letterboxd Top 250 Narrative Feature Films" list, is not actually part of the Letterboxd crew. Instead, he's a long-time patron who created and maintained the list so efficiently that the crew adopted it as the site's official equivalent to IMDb's own.
• Promoted Fanboy: Mia Vicino (better known by her Letterboxd handles "brat pitt" and "BRÁT"), who helped popularise tweet-style reviews of movies, joined the official Letterboxd staff in 2022.
