Trivia / Lee Brice

Go To

  • He Also Did: Brice has several writing credits for other artists, including "More than a Memory" by Garth Brooks and "Crazy Girl" by the Eli Young Band.
  • Missing Episode: His original debut album Picture of Me was never released. Nor was its originally-intended lead single "Overrated", which was pulled just shy of release in favor of "She Ain't Right". That song and "Happy Endings" wound up on Love Like Crazy, but a third single called "Upper Middle Class White Trash" did not.
  • Sleeper Hit: "Love Like Crazy" spent 56 weeks on the Hot Country Songs charts, breaking a longevity record set in 1948 by Eddy Arnold's "Bouquet of Roses" and becoming the first song ever to be #1 on the Billboard Year-End for the country format despite not hitting #1 on the weekly charts.
