• Dawson Casting: In "Reading Magic With Figment and Peter Pan", Peter Pan is played by a live action adult actor despite being a child. Alice in "Writing Magic With Figment and Alice in Wonderland", however, is played by an actual child.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: As the videos were only sold or rented to elementary schools or individual educators and each videotape cost $350, they were hard to find until they were illegally posted on YouTube.
• Role Reprise: Billy Barty, who voiced Figment in the first version of Journey into Imagination, reprised his role in these videos.
• Uncredited Role: None of the actors who played the kids were credited.
