  • What Could Have Been:
    • Initially, the Totalist leader for the AIM-led Alaska used to be Joe Medicine Crow, in what could only be described as a massive Historical Villain Upgrade over the real Crow's beliefs and actions, going from a a war hero of World War 2 to a red-tinted dictator who killed whites em masse to use their corpses as fertilizer. This led to the developers eventually replacing him with Thomas Dixon, a contemporary of Elwood Towner in the American Indian Federation.
    • Previously in Roten Morgen's launch, Joseph Goebbels was available as one of the potential leaders in German Revolutionary Government, who would turn Germany into a Totalist version of Nazi Germany and had him associated with real-world Nazis such as Heinrich Himmler, Adolf Eichmann and Alfred Rosenberg. Currently, the Goebbels path is removed upon the request from the creator of Roten Morgen, replacing him with Paul Lensch who has a severely reduced and revised focus tree of Goebbel's one. Notably, Lensch's tree omits the Autonomous Reichskommissariats and Germania, having an approach towards Bismarck's ideas rather than Nazism.
    • Originally in Georgia led by Ioseb Jughashvili, there was a path where the infamous Lavrentiy Beria had become his successor following Jughashvili being (suspiciously) killed by a bear, something that was implied to be Beria's machination. In his path, Beria not only betrayed Jughashvili's ideas for his own power, but also underwent a massive Historical Villain Upgrade that had him becoming even more deplorable than his infamous real-world counterpart, starting a horrific rule that even made Jughashvili himself looked like a Well-Intentioned Extremist, and using horrific policies such as persecution against ethnic minorities. Currently, Beria's path has been completely removed by the Kaiserredux development team in a later update due to not only the reality of his reputation, but for the vastly dark and bizarre elements that were featured in his path after becoming the premier of Georgia.
