  • Aluminum Christmas Trees:
    • In this timeline, where Benito Mussolini never created fascism as it existed in real life, the term fascism instead refers to the Fasci Siciliani, a Christian democratic socialist movement that was active from 1889 to 1894 and is later revived by Riccardo Lombardi.
    • Despite being infamous for racist viewpoints vile for even their time, H.P. Lovecraft did genuinely have a change of heart at the very end of his life and adapt more socialist political worldviews, even expressing significant regret at the worldviews of his younger self.
    • Given that his grandchild was infamous for his myriad of racist, homophobic and conspiracy theory comments, one might be surprised to see Rush Limbaugh Sr. being portrayed as a progressive legislator and one of the very few voices within the CAR to promote racial equality - which is actually fitting given that in real life he was a member of the liberal Committee of 48 and a civil rights supporter..
  • Awesome Music: Liberia, Land of Liberty, unbelievably catchy and considered by many to be by far the mod's best menu theme.
    • Another fan-favorite is New York, New York by Frank Sinatra, a classic jazzy tune that serves as the perfect setup for the update that brought New York to playable status as a City of Adventure.
  • Broken Base: The very idea of the mod itself. Some love it for how ridiculous and insane the mod can be and for bringing back some of the meme options loved by the fans (such as Sternberg becoming Genghis Khan II), while others deride its memetic nature as juvenile and immersion-breaking while viewing the mod's devs and their fans as merely salty that the meme paths were removed from Kaiserreich proper, or even having extremely questionable politics altogether.
  • Complete Monster:
    • Lavrentiy Beria, present in earlier versions of the mod, was depicted as the leader of the "People's Guard", the armed wing of the Communist party in the Socialist state of Georgia, and Ioseb Jughashvili's second-in-command. In the wake of Jughashvili's ascension to power, Beria would facilitate the arrest and subsequent purging of the Mensheviks from Georgia's government. If Jughashvili dies in a hunting accident implied to have been orchestrated by Beria, Beria would seize power for himself, killing anyone suspecting his role in Jughashvili's death. As leader of Georgia, Beria will launch a persecution of ethnic minorities, implementing laws forcing them to have only one child while enacting propaganda promoting the "genetic superiority" of Georgians, and subsequently pushing minorities and any political dissidents into slave labor in the Gulags where they are forced into penal battalions or experimented upon in the name of progress. In addition, Beria will take advantage of the economic liberalization he initiates in Georgia to establish Human Trafficking routes, with the intention of using it to track down women, children and the mentally ill to serve as his sex slaves.
    • Ante Pavelic is the leader of the far right wing of the Croatian Party of Rights. When Illyria falls into chaos as a result of its ethnic tensions with its Slovene and Bosniak population, Pavelic and elements loyal to him in the military may attempt to launch a coup of its government. If he succeeds, he declares a campaign to rid the nation of "enemies of the state", choosing to focus on either suppressing Republican Croatians, or going after either one of the Slovene and Bosniak minorities. He then unleashes death squads and gives them the order to patrol the countryside and use scorched-earth tactics against all that oppose him; these scorched earth tactics turning the sky black and causing immense damage to the soil in Illyria. Later on, he forcibly conscripts the entire Croatian population into the army and launches a massive campaign of violence against anyone demanding independence from Illyria; this campaign of violence results in a massive refugee crisis in the Balkans.
  • Magnificent Bastard: Earl Browder is one of the leaders of the Vanguardist faction in the Combined Syndicates of America. Emerging as a key player upon the victory of Combined Syndicates of America in the Second American Civil War, Browder seeks to implement Communism in a way that upholds American culture while bringing fourth an authoritarian state protecting the revolution from internal enemies. If emerging victorious over the Syndicalists and the rival Vanguardists, Browder enacts measures strengthening the presidency and merging all far-left parties into a "Popular Front" to co-opt their ideas. Upon consolidating power, he dispatches his enemies through underhanded means such as subverting anti-Browderite movements from within and then purging their leadership when they are exposed. In order to gain the support of the population, Browder re-appropriate popular holidays with a socialist twist and uses the radio to broadcast propaganda to Americans. These measures win over much of the surviving American populace to his brand of Communism, leading to him being affectionately called "the Boss" by enthusiastic supporters.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • Everything about H. P. Lovecraft, leader of the Providence Circle and ruler of New England. Very little about his actual personal beliefs has been changed, but here he's given the opportunity to enact them on a massive scale in New England and potentially the Sovereign Order of America, turning whichever nation he ends up leading into a secretive, Spartanist, outlandishly racist totalitarian state where Lovecraft's bizarre philosophy pervades society and purges and genocides are the norm.
    • The super event that triggers when France and Germany declare war on each other and kicks off the Second Weltkrieg. Playing audio of a whistling rendition of "Hanging on the Barbed Wire" from They Shall Not Grow Old with the sound of warfare in the distance, perfectly setting the tone for this timeline's version of World War 2.
