• Newbie Boom: Spica Aoki says that the series was struggling to find an audience around the time volume 2 was printed, so her editor suggested posting the entire first chapter on Twitter. The post got hundreds of thousands of likes and resulted in the series up to that point selling out and getting a second print run (a first in her manga career).
• What Could Have Been: Because Monthly Comic Alive is a seinen publication, Spica Aoki's initial pitch for the series was originally a more action-packed story involving a Superhero School for Kaiju girls in training. There was also the potential for a harem aspect somewhere down the line. However, her editor decided that the story would work better as a Shoujo story since Aoki had more experience with that.
