• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The series was in this for a time due to its original distributor ADV Films going under. It later went to Funimation, who made their own release, however.
• The Other Darrin: For reasons unknown, every voiced work in the Jinki franchise uses a different Japanese cast for the characters.
• What Could Have Been: According to the "Jinki:Extend Perfect Guidebook," the initial plan was to make Rui the protagonist of the anime. This obviously didn't happen, but Rui's narration at the end of the anime can be seen as a remnant of this plan.
