- Completely Different Title: The Japanese title translates to Demi-girls Want to Speak Up, so the English title counts as this.
- Dueling Shows: With Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and the second season of KonoSuba, all three being popular comedy shows of the season.
- Reality Subtext: Ugaki gives an exposition of why law enforcement agencies have a special division dedicated to succubus related crimes. The seduction powers of a succubus, accidental or intentional, can cause others to commit sexual acts they ordinarily wouldn't. Legally determining if a succubus is the aggressor or victim is dangerously complicated. This mirrors a situation in Japan where accusations of train groping have severe repercussions especially when false. In one such scenario a man falsely accused committed suicide, and there has even been a film based on the subject itself. The anime does away with the manga's subtlety by accompanying his monologue with diagrams taking place on a train and presenting a chikan-situation.
