- The actors who play the main characters, Arlo especially, can sing pretty good.
- Jonathan Van Ness also gets to show his hairdressing skills as Furlecia multiple times.
- For the season finale, Flea gets to show off some pipes along with Jennifer Coolidge rapping. Santigold, of all actors, pulls off a downright epic Villain Song as the Bog Lady.
- Content Leak: A few brief episode clips (one where Arlo and the gang talk in the pizzeria over impressing the mayor before the boardwalk's grand opening, one where Arlo invites the Seasides over for a housewarming, one where Furlecia starts to shed her fur, and the first half of "The Way") were leaked under the "coming soon" section of the Netflix app three weeks before the series premiered.
- Cross-Dressing Voices: Like the movie, male Queer Eye (2018) star Jonathan Van Ness plays the female Furlecia.
- Digital Destruction: "Blow Out" is vastly out of sync on Netflix, with the audio coming one second after the animation.
- Non-Singing Voice: Likewise with the movie, though it only applies with the international dubs. Arlo has a singing double in five dubs as before, the French, German, Korean, Mandarin, Latin American dubs; Bertie and Ansel have them in the last two, Marcellus has one in the fifth, and Ruff has one in the fourth. Averted for Alia, whose singing double for Latin America takes over as both her speaking and singing voices.
- Role Reprise: Everyone from the movie reprises their roles for the show.
