  • No Export for You: The manga was also published in Thailand, but never in any Western countries until 2023, when it was announced to Spanish and Mexican audiences by MangaLine. Due to tragic events, including the assassination of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, rendering parts of the story Harsher in Hindsight, a more widespread release may be unlikely.
  • Scanlation: The English scanlations by Rapeman had some online infamy for his very off-color jokes in the pages of the credits (as detailed in the Distanced from Current Events trope page), which led to him taking all the chapters out of Mangadex after moderators demanded him to drop the jokes. At first, he didn't like the series after the early chapters. However, he worked on it to the end anyway because a Canadian fan of Killing Bites by the same author had been making the effort of importing the physical-only volumes of the HERO'S magazine and periodically sent him chapter scans at an incredibly high resolution.
  • Trolling Creator: When asked on Twitter about the Himeno-awakening-from-a-cyberpunk-machine prologue the story never gets to, Murata just replied he wasn't sure about it. When another English-speaking reader complained that the series ended too abruptly, Murata replied with "I wonder why!"
  • Word of God: According to Murata on Twitter, the wasp-women can give birth despite their Bizarre Alien Biology but would treat their own children as second to their queen and comrades, as seen in-series with how Rushia treats Mizu.
