- Out of Order: "Hope Falls" was originally supposed to be aired fifth, but was pushed back a month because its main plot, a student committing suicide, coincided with a high-profile teen suicide. The problem? It's also the episode where Daisy is introduced.
- Screwed by the Network: It achieved high ratings and reviews, and Fox Family treated the show perfectly well at the time, but the show was cancelled after its first season due to issues with the network. Fox Family was sold to Disney and turned into ABC Family, and the team/staff behind the series weren't moved over to the new channel.
- What Could Have Been: If permitted multiple seasons, the cast would have rotated, making the show sort of like a Degrassi for troubled teens.
