Trivia / Gunstar Super Heroes

• Cut Song: Super Heroes features a variety of unused songs from previous Sega games like Altered Beast (1988), ESWAT and Thunder Blade.
• What Could Have Been:
  • There are Dummied Out sprites and at least one piece of official art that imply that Red in Super Heroes was originally going to have a greater resemblance to the Genesis Red as well as have clearly male or female sprites, as opposed to the Bifauxnen Red that we received in the final version.
  • Golden Silver has sprites for physical attacks. In the final game he just stands there.
  • There are unused sprites for the protagonist of ESWAT, a bear simply referred to as "Teddyman" and unfinished graphics for a dragon-like creature, possibly from Altered Beast, that would have wound up as bosses in Black's Dice Maze.
