• Banned in China: One of the not-as-rare-as-you'd-think cases of a Chinese series that ended up getting banned in its own country. China's infamous censors refuse to allow the uncut version to be aired. The version they eventually allowed is missing more than a third of the original series. In this case the reason they banned it is obvious; the series is about a man who ends up in a woman's body and falls in love with his/her husband. It's also about Time Travel, something the censors weren't too keen on in the early 2010s, so it's a miracle it managed to be aired at all.
• Completely Different Title: As always with Chinese series, the English title is nothing like the original one.
• "Do It Yourself" Theme Tune:
  • Sheng Yi Lun (Qi Sheng) sang "漩涡/Xuán Wō/Whirlpool" and "以前的以后/Yǐ Qián De Yǐ Hòu/The Future of the Past".
  • Guo Jun Chen (Yang Yan) sang "告诉我未来/Gào Sù Wǒ Wèi Lái/Tell Me The Future".
• Sleeper Hit: The series was made in only seventy days on a shoestring budget (20 million yuan, equivalent to 3 million US dollars), without time or money to make proper props, and starring amateur actors. To everyone's amazement it became very successful, making over 41 million yuan and gaining 2.6 billion views - and this is all in spite of the two major story elements which would normally cause Chinese censors to ban it entirely.
