- Dummied Out: Two additional endings — one depicting Ayato with demonic wings, and another where Ayato disappears to parts unknown — have been found in the game's files, but the conditions for triggering them (assuming any were ever implemented) have not been discovered.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: There's a second print run of the PC-98 version that allegedly fixes many of the game's bugs. Unfortunately, it's easily the hardest version to find, with the few copies that show up in second-hand markets being incredibly expensive. Emulation isn't really an option either, since most, if not all dumps that are known to exist are of the first print run.
- No Export for You: Neither version was officially released outside of Japan.
- Refitted for Sequel: The mid-boss theme appears to be based on an unused track from Devil Summoner.
- Stillborn Franchise: According to a magazine article from before it was released, this game was meant to be the start of a spin-off series, but so far, no other entries have ever materialized, if they were ever planned in the first place.
