Creator Backlash: Harvey Wippleman, his manager in WWE, didn't have much good to say about him in the special WrestleMania X-8 magazine in 2002, albeit it wasn't because of him being an unpleasant person (everyone who's been interviewed about the guy said Jorge himself was a really Nice Guy), but for the difficulties his height caused. Harvey said that he was like Gonzalez' "babysitter" and that he had to tie Gonzalez' boots for him because Gonzalez couldn't reach them himself.
What Could Have Been: The infamous "Yeti" character at Halloween Havoc 95? It was supposed to be Gonzalez from the start, and he was even signed on to appear up until the actual day of the event. Depending on who you ask, either health reasons or immigration issues put a halt to this, resulting in WCW having to put Ron Reis in the role at the last minute.
