• What Could Have Been: Burning Day was originally meant to kick off an entire third volume, the Morphology War. The author chose to instead pare it down to two more chapters, while still hopefully ending things how he wanted them to, due to personal issues and life events. So far, we know it would have featured Jacob being brainwashed and turned into a soldier for Lola for a while and increased focus on Caera's Heel–Face Turn from fighting the Jiang Shi.
